October first was our blog entry about the former Pumpjack Diner. In the weeks since, Mike Shallenberger got everything in place to reopen. Today's Times Record News reports the Pioneer of Texas Diner has reopened quietly.

As mentioned here, the former Pumpjack diner was recently sold. Agilitynut has an external picture of the Pumpjack Diner here. The Times Record News reports the diner will open on November 17, 2008 as the Pioneer of Texas Diner.
